Antique or Vintage Hubley Cast Iron Flower Basket Doorstop #8. Six inches tall. Estimated production during the 1920-1930s. This was an era for Hubley where paint was hand applied, not sprayed. Still has original paint with a two-tone basket, with pink, yellow, and red flowers. Black base does have some paint loss, pictured. Research on Hubley indicated by photo that this door stop typically had a paper label on back. The #8 is on back on the base. Weight is about 2 pounds. This particular door stop is in really good condition for being about 100 years old. Start a collection or just keep that door open. Decorative suggestion: Place a collection on the wall side of some of your indoor stairs.
