Vintage 1970’s Large Macrame Lion Head Wall Hanging, Jute Cord w/Beads, Retro.
This is an amazing, vintage macramé wall hanging of a large lion's head! Circa 1970's, the jute cord craftsmanship and detail is wonderful. The face of the lion is formed on a metal ring. His nose, complete with whiskers, protrudes slightly from the face with a brown bead for the tip. His eyes are large beads with black paint defining his pupils. His round ears are knotted from the jute The total dimensions, including the lion's top head tufts to the bottom of it's full mane is approx. 29" long x 20" wide. The top head area hangs easily from any hook or nail on the wall.
This retro macramé lion would be perfect in nearly any décor, especially retro, tribal, or African, but also be an excellent addition for any cat lover!
